Our own adjusters manage each instruction and prepare and sign the reports. Specialist consultants contribute where required, with responsibility for the adjustment remaining within Zappa & Company.
Giorgio Zappa
Principal and insurance loss adjuster
Giorgio Zappa is registered on the Court of Monza’s list of court-appointed technical experts. His practice has a longstanding focus on workplace accidents, including fatal incidents, and employers’ liability claims.
He also leads the firm’s work on engineering and other specialist technical claims and writes its technical publications. He handles enquiries, instructions, correspondence and reporting in English.
Our adjusters and specialist support
We retain the management of our assignments and do not subcontract the loss adjusting instruction. Where an investigation requires additional expertise, we appoint structural engineers, geologists, electrical or mechanical specialists and testing laboratories.
We define the scope of their work, coordinate the investigation and evaluate their findings as part of our assessment. The insurer receives a report that brings the relevant evidence together and explains the conclusions reached.
